When the Heart is Knit with the Word of Truth

When the Heart is Knit with the Word of Truth

It supposed to be when an honest heart is knit with the Word of Truth… When a person picks up the Bible and reads it, what does that Bible mean to that person who picked up that Bible? Somebody could read the Bible, and it does not mean much to them, because their heart is not knit with the Word of Truth. Whether you agree with the Word of God or not, there are doctrinal things we need to know.

Daniel Rodes

This book will stand either for us or against us at the day of judgement. When your heart is not honest, you cannot go to the Word and receive the Truth of the Word of God. You can’t get to the Word. The key of getting to the Word of God is honesty. The way to get to the Bible and understand it is totally giving your heart to the Lord, when God’s heart and your heart match. They are knit together, joined together in one. Then when the Lord speak through His Word you hear it and understand it. Because an open heart, an honest heart receives revelation from this book called the Bible, and reveals to us the things which otherwise would be hidden. For the Word of God is hidden from anyone who does not want to know the truth.

The Spirit of Truth will lead you into all truth only if you have an honest heart, free from deception and deceitfulness. Jeremiah 17:9 tells us why people are not open to the truth and cannot receive the truth. “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jer 17:9 KJV)

Pray For Yourself

Reuben Esh

Апостол Рубен Эш. Apostle Reuben Esh

I came back from a couple of trips overseas just recently as most of you have heard.  I just came back from India.  We just had a wonderful time over there.  I took a team over there from the States.  There has been a number of people who said, I just want to go with you overseas.  I wasn’t sure how that would work out because when I go it’s usually not to do work, its usually to preach the Gospel.  Usually we don’t need more than one or two preachers, so I never saw a good opportunity for that until this trip to India.  So, I said, we’ll take a few of these people who’ve been asking me to go along.  And, this ministry that I work with over there, formed some evangelistic teams that would go out into the villages, while I was holding a pastor’s conference.  We really had a good time.  India is so unusual, so unlike any other place on the face of the earth.  You have to be there to grasp how odd, how weird and how different this place really is.  It is so different from American culture, it is hard to fathom.

Chosen of God

A Prophetic message

 Daniel D. Rodes

So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen, Matthew 20: 16.

According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, Ephesians 1 :4.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous light, 1 Peter 2:9.

No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier, 2 Timothy 2:4.

When the U. S. army trains their soldiers, they first send them to “Boot Camp” to rid them of their childish ways and to teach them to become “battle hard” soldiers. According to those who have gone through “Boot Camp,” it is not easy. They have to do things they don’t necessarily enjoy, but this is a part of the training. Readiness for battle can be a matter of life or death, and who would choose to die on the battle field?

I heard a paratrooper say when he was in training, he had to run one mile the first day, two miles the second day, three miles the third day, four miles the fourth day, five miles the fifth day, six miles the sixth day, seven miles the seventh day, eight miles the eighth day, nine miles the ninth day, ten miles the tenth day and ten miles each day after that. Why? The army needed tough men, strong men, able men. God needs “men,” CHOSEN men who are trained in the “Boot Camp” of Heaven. God, help us to be “MEN” I am not talking about males, I’m talking about “MEN,” MEN and woMEN! God needs YOU! You can be CHOSEN!

Paul, in writing to Timothy, said to endure hardness as  a good soldier, 2 Timothy 2:3. The Lord has a “Boot Camp,” so to speak, for all His CHOSEN people. The time of childhood is over for those who have been Christians for years. Whether we desire adulthood or not, it is a necessary part of life. Adulthood is not easy to attain, but will be very rewarding to the CHOSEN of God. We must train our up-coming generation to become hardened soldiers. Well armed with the unchanging, unfailing, Word of God.

The Lord Jesus made it clear in Matthew 22:14, For many are called, but few are chosen. Why are there so few who can endure the “Boot Camp” of the Lord? Endurance is a choice of commitment. The Lord is looking for committed, strong, stable men and women in this hour to fight the good fight of faith. There is a battle to be fought. There is a world to win to Jesus Christ. God is looking for preachers, teachers, soul winners and warriors. We have had enough weak, fearful, childish leadership. We are under attack. Our homes, children, marriages and churches have been attacked. We don’t need more actors in the pulpit, we need attackers; men who will fight back; CHOSEN men who refuse to let a heathen nation control our homes, schools and classrooms. We no longer cry, “The enemy is coming,” for the enemy is here! God has CHOSEN us to beat him. We are called to overcome him. The heathen had to tell a sleeping prophet, o sleeper? arise, Jonah 1:6. Could it be that a heathen society will have to wake us up? We don’t need intellectuals with their fancy warmed over sermons to get us fired up. We need CHOSEN men of God who have set their hand to the plow and refuse to look back as written in Luke 9:62. We need CHOSEN men of God who will do what Jesus said do, Let the dead bury their dead, Luke 9:60. We need inspired men, empowered men, who will teach their boys to be men. God is looking for CHOSEN men, not frozen men. Frozen corpses can’t carry flaming Swords to drive the enemy back. We need motivators who can place enthusiasm in the pulpit. We have enthusiasm in sports, video games, television shows, and internet. These things can hinder and destroy a nation if not controlled by God-fearing people. Until God-fearing CHOSEN men of God proclaim without fear, a complete and total separation from the world system, we will have wimps instead of CHOSEN men. We need a Moses to get us out of Egypt but we need the Jehovah God to get the Egypt out of us. We need another Jeremiah to weep over “God rejecting” nations.

We need MEN; CHOSEN MEN, able MEN. Men who won’t quit when under pressure. Men whom the Bible says, One man of you shall chase a thousand, Joshua 23:10, and two put ten thousand to flight, Deuteronomy 32:30.

The following prophetic message was given to me in a hotel in Chicago, IL in September, 1995. The Lord showed me some of the things that will be taking place in the near future. He wants to equip us to come through this time in victory. Before we can have victory and win the battles, we must follow Isaiah 38: 1, Set thine house in order.

For years the Church has been a hospital for the wounded, many of whom have remained wounded. She has also served as a nursery for babies who have never grown up. Beyond question, the Lord is concerned about people who are hurting, and He has been loving and caring for the babes in Christ. However, the day has come for the Church to be a “Boot Camp” for those who are to be mature in the things of God. People who are still babies in the Lord after five, ten or twenty years will suddenly be faced with a decision; either grow up, or blow up. People are in trouble who spend day after day, week after week and year after year still nursing their wounds and recalling all t.he evil that has befallen them. Those who have been counseled and prayed for over and over again and keep falling back into the same old “pity me,” “love me,” “help me” condition, will become an easy target for satan to destroy. Christians in this condition weaken churches and kill evangelism. They spend years with tears and fears. They sing of going through the deep, dark valleys of life while they live in strife. They cry on each other’s shoulders. They write and talk about death, pain and suffering. They blame others for their sorrows, grief, failures and sins. They often murmur and complain. This is the very thing that kept God’s people from entering into the land of Canaan.

32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

The Everlasting Gospel

The only place the everlasting Gospel is mentioned is in the book of Revelation: “And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people (Rev 14:6).In Matthew 24:14 it said: “And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” We have a tendency to hear what we want to hear rather then what the Bible has to say. It says, the preachers preaching it will be a witness; they will not only preach it, but live it. Witness usually means ready to lay down your life for it.

Jesus went to different villages preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom in Matthew 9:35. He also healed the sick of every disease, indicating that the Gospel of the Kingdom will have to do that.

Understanding God and His Word

The average denominational system automatically gives their definition for what is required of a child of God. They draw up their traditions, commandments and standards to defend rules and regulations. Each denomination boasts superiority in understanding the fundamental structure of the faith. They skillfully interweave Scriptures with their standard and the Biblical standard set forth by the Almighty God, thus making the Word of God of little or none effect. Most Believers feel they were providentially born into this “ideal, scriptural,” denomination, whether they have a proper or a manipulative interpretation of the Bible. This explains the statement made by Jesus, “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves” (Matthew 23: 15).

This may help to explain the struggles, frustrations and lack of fulfillment in the lives of the majority of Believers across the world.

Mt 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

The heart must be 100% honest before you can have 100% TRUTH from the WORD!!

Only an honest heart will understand God and His Word. How does one get an honest Heart?

Understanding How the Heart of Man and the Heart of God are Unified in Interpreting the Word:

If a person does not have an honest heart he/she will not interpret the Word correctly.

If we do not understand God and His attributes, we will not understand His Word. If we are incapable of understanding His Word, we will never be able to understand God. God and His word cannot be separated. Jesus declared himself to be the word of God.

Abounding With Thanksgiving

“Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.” (Colossians 2:7)

Thanksgiving that comes from the heart is different from that comes out of your lips.

1 Timothy 2:1-2  “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men.” Stop here and analyse this: “For all men?” He could not mean that, could He? Then He goes on “2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.”

There is no way you may rail on a leader and pray for him. If you have problems praying for somebody give thanks for him first. Because you can get him change. You don’t thank God for him because he is your enemy, but because he is your fellow human.

Psalm 137:3-4  3 For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.  4 How shall we sing the LORD’S song in a strange land?If you are backslidden you’ll have a miserable life. Gage in your life is your joy. Love, joy and peace are 3 main things that make a Christian going.Psalm 126:1-6 When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.  2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.  3 The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.  4 Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.  5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.  6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.Which of those sections would you rather live in? Where do you live in? Where we hung our harps on the willows or where our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing? What is going to determine this is where your relationships with the Lord is.Sermon. Audio. MP3. 56 minutes.

Your Soul Under Control

Your soul has to be under your control, not you under control of your soul.

5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance (Psalm 42). David is talking to himself. God has interest in seeing your spirit, soul and body prosper. It is part of His plan, will and purpose for your life. Your spirit is the part of you that gets born again. It enters into relationships with God, make connection with Heaven, which Holy Spirit directs. You are responsible to keep your body in subjection. We need to make a decision to keep our soul in line with the Word. Soul consists of mind, will and emotions. Soul does not get born again, it is being renewed gradually. You have to talk to your soul. Soul does 3 things: mind processes your thoughts; thoughts affect your feelings and how you make decisions. The key to get your mind, will and emotions lined up with the Word of God and Spirit of God. This way you will correctly respond to the way God feels and will help you on your decision making. God wants you to be in control of your emotions rather than emotions controlling you. Soul is affected by the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness.

Апостол Рубен Эш. Apostle Reuben Esh

Kingdom of Heaven

kingdom of darkness

New man                 Mind         Flesh (soul man)

Emotions         Will

If you depend on your natural senses to feed the information to your soul it makes you a carnal man. If you depend on your spiritual senses to tap in the Kingdom of Heaven, in makes you a spiritual man. If unconverted man taps into spiritual realm of the kingdom or darkness it is witchcraft. You have to train your new man that taps into the Kingdom of God to use spiritual senses to feed your mind.

Understanding God and His Kingdom

Дэниэл Роудс. Daniel RodesThere is controversy on who God is. The God we serve is not a passing god. Diana and Baal are gone because they are passing gods.

We came to a place that we shove a holy God aside in reference to our belief. Someone told me, “You refer to the Bible all the time, but my church people refer to denomination we were brought up with.”

You cannot separate this Book from what the Word is. Once you have been translated to His kingdom you now are a new thing.

When human fell, human became perverted. In Christ we have a picture of what human become when they are not perverted. We have pieces of a puzzle and we start putting it together.

When God becomes our Heavenly Father, there are relationships, and we can understand Him. I know what pleases my Father. Until we learn what pleases the Father we will only relate to God as someone upstairs.

Farewell Message

If you understand heart – not heart that beat your blood, but the heart condition of man, the very innermost being of an individual. What is wrong that the Bible does not work? Why do we need to shift gears when a trouble comes? We have faith as long as it is not too bad, but when it become serious, it is different.

A Lion Killed My Dog

In Montana there was a little dog named Max. I’ve know it for years. This dog was quite a little character. Once he went to a house on a steep hill. He did not come back. They decided to check on him. They come there and see that little Max is dead and a mountain lion was licking his blood off of him.

Today I will focus on spiritual dogs and lions.

How To Get Into Your Calling

For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee. Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good? So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen (Matthew 20: 1, 14-16:)
