We Need a Major Reformation In the Youth

Until we are converted we will not in the right direction. Nobody who broke God’s law got away with it. Payday is coming. Commandments have to be kept or satan will kill you.

I have a duty to fall on my face before God and appeal for my family. Multitude of young people are in trouble. You can have a heart which is absolutely pure.

God’s Promises For Thee and Me

If we claim the same promises someone else got a hold of why can’t we have them?

26 And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee.
27 And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.
28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.
29 (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.)
30 And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.
31 And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep.
32 And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them.
33 Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.
34 When they that fed them saw what was done, they fled, and went and told it in the city and in the country.
35 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.
36 They also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed.
37 Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear: and he went up into the ship, and returned back again.
38 Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying,
39 Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him. (Luk 8:35-39 KJV)

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars. (2 Ch 16:9 KJV)

Kevin Campbell. God’s Will

God’s Will, God’s Plan and God’s Purpose

The safest place for us to be is in the will of God.

1 Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.
2 For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.
3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God:
6 That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.
7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.
8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.
9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
10 And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;
11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
12 That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (1 Thess 4:1-18 KJV)

Developing your Spirit, Soul and Body

1 I have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

Kevin Campbell

9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
12 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. And be at peace among yourselves.
14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
16 Rejoice evermore.
17 Pray without ceasing.
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
19 Quench not the Spirit.
20 Despise not prophesyings.
21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

Remitting and Retaining

Your Character Remitted. #1

Suppose a person in your neighborhood gets drunk on Friday nights, then beats his wife and children. Everybody knows about it, but no one knows what to do with it. One hundred people already agreed that he is a drunkard and a violent person.

“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven” (Mat 18:19 KJV)

When one hundred people agreed, there a lot of those two who agreed. They retain sins of this person against him and consequently he cannot change. It is necessary that someone would remit his sins off of him so that he will be able to change.

“Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained” (John 20:23 KJV)

When people meet you for the first time, they start a file on you, and then they enter in that file your character traits and retain them, they remember them. People easier remember your bad things in your character, than good things, and keep it against you. What if it is not a guy who beats his wife but you? You lost your temper, did something stupid, and now a number of people retain those sins against you. How to be released from it? The sins have to be remitted off from you.

No one really owes you an apology, because Jesus already paid the price. It is good to come up to someone and say, “I am sorry”. It is necessary, but the revelation is that they don’t owe you an apology because God already paid for the sin they committed.

Doing nothing is not really a sin, but when you become good at it, it is sin.

If you do not manage a certain area, it will manage you.

 Remitting and Retaining. #2

You shall receive power after the Holy Spirit comes upon you.

22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: 22 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained. (John 20:22-23 KJV)

  Remitting and Retaining. #3

Remitting and retaining have a lot to do with death and life. If you retain what people did wrong to you, you are the one that suffers. You should have remitted it. Remit is to release, to forgive.

from Spirit, Truth & Life Ministries on Vimeo.

If it is good, bind it to you. If it is bad (sickness, curse, addictions), loose it off of you. You work on yourself, and then God gives you an opportunity to help others as you’ve worked on yourself.

Remitting and Retaining #4. Keys of Binding and Loosing

Keys of Binding and Loosing: Remitting and Retaining #4 from Spirit, Truth & Life Ministries on Vimeo.

Binding and Loosing are the keys. They are either right or wrong keys.

Why are people mad? Why are you mad? Why do you get mad? It is a choice. It’s all in the keys. You may use a wrong key to start your day. Bible talks about binding and loosing, good and bad, blessing and cursing. You are either binding yourself to life or you are binding yourself to death.

Marriage is a s sweet as you make it. It depends on how much sugar you have.

Truth, Light and Life Mission

1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
3 Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.
4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.
5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. (Jam 3:1-18 KJV)

Binding and loosing are the keys. People won’t drive you crazy if you do not give them the keys. It is all in choice and decisions what you are going to bind yourself to and what you are going to loose yourself from. There are things we have to be bound to and things we have to be loosed from.

Testimony
Related to Kevin Campbell’s message
“Your Character Remitted. #1”

When I was a teenager, I started using index cards with names of my schoolmates. There I entered their character traits, mostly flaws. When Pastor Kevin Campbell said that we keep files on people in our minds, I kept them not only in my mind, but on paper also.

In 1987 I met a person who spoke only good things about people, he judged or condemned nobody. I felt a desire to be like him. I had not met a person whom I would like to imitate prior to that. I began to imitate him, and there came an amazing liberation. I began to love most people, stopped fearing them, when I communicate with them, there was a confidence that the good will win.

Okay. The Lord’s way

If you do not forgive someone’s sins, you retain them. You are a retainer. It means they owe it to you. God says, “This is a lie. Their debt was paid in full by My Son’s death.” If Stephen would not forgiven Saul, there would not have been Apostle Paul. Stephen would have been held accountable for Saul’s sins.

Power of the Scripture in You

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (1 Pe 1:3-5 KJV)

You shall receive power after the Holy Ghost come upon you. Holy Ghost is mandatory. He is God. God is love. Love has power. It will guard your life.

“God is a part of your/my life”. How many can say that? Is He the greater or lesser part of your life? You need to know what is in you. There is a power in you that does not think evil, won’t take any evil, won’t sin, won’t rebel. The power s in you to keep you from evil.

In the order of Melchizedek: Power of Indestructible Life

Kevin CampbellGod says, “I am looking for a group of people who have love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, self-control.”

The law was our school master to bring us to Christ. If the law is not agains you. You are free to be a child of God. And when people see the Father in you, it means you graduated.

Hebrews 7:1-16. What made Jesus in the order of Melchizedek? Verse 16 tell us it is a power of Indestructible Life. We are here for it. It makes you sons, kings and priests. This power of endless life that you know possess though Jesus after the order of Melchizedek. If you don’t have manifestations of love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness in your life, you are carnal, you need saved. The Spirit has power, flesh is a problem. You can please men, but it won’t help you. Can you please God?

If you have this power of Indestructible Life, rivers of water of life will flow out of you, unless something is as a dam.

Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness are weapons of our warfare. If you have it,. You will make it. If you don’t have it, your boat will sink. You’ll be as good as a rock thrown into the ocean. If you do not have a life preserver you are no better than a rock with water before you.

15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless [indestructible] life. (Heb 7:15-16 KJV)

Who is in Control? Overcoming You

Who is in Control?

How much control of your life does God really have? On the scale from 1% to 100% – is it 75%? 50%? Or does it come up and down when problems come? It will be very evident in your fruit and conduct. Are you making people’s lives around you better, or they wish you would not around? It depends on who is in control of your life.

Everybody wants the gifts, see healing and miracles, including me. I need them. The Lord says, “If I am in control of your life, when certain circumstance come, why do you push Me over and take charge?” Healing ministry has to be with obedience. He is looking for someone who will say, “yes” to what God tells to do.

Many of us have a problem: independence of God. We want to do things our way. God tells to do something, and you compromise… Independence and compromise are areas when our flesh wait to take over.

We need the healing power of God back. But we also need a stable lifestyle. Too many options. There has to be the only way.

Overcoming You

The greatest obstacle in the past is you. Ask yourself a question, “Who really is in control of my life?” The answer determines who determines my behaviour, flesh or the Spirit. Who is in control is obvious when a storm comes. If you are in control of your life, you are out of control. “For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh” (Phi 3:3 KJV)

What is your value? It is how much God is willing to pay for you.

If you have an ounce of independence in you. Or your opinion, it is like a virus. Let God overcome you. Without God you will never be able to do things right all the time.

“Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh” (Gal 5:16 KJV)

When Holy Spirit is in control of your life, you’ll please God.

You will never understand faith until you understand love.

Build your integrity. Make a decision: the world will see brand new me.

You’ll miss every target you don’t shoot at. So take a shot.

Daniel has excellent spirit (Daniel 5:14, 63). “He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit” (Pro 17:27 KJV). Excellent spirit keeps his cool.

You overcome by recognition. You recognize you’ve been ain a similar situation, failed, and you ask God to help you this time. Follow peace with all men.

“For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live” (Rom 8:13 KJV). Gentleness is a weapon of warfare. Our weapons of warfare are not carnal.

Born to Win. By Daniel Rodes

INTRODUCTION

This book was not written for men only. Although the word men or man is used freely, I am not referring to male, but mankind. It is my goal and prayer to stir up men and women to become all they can be in this life, to set out to get a dream, a vision and not stop until they see the vision fulfilled.

This is not a weird dream or unscriptural vision someone gets or claims to have from the Lord. Such dreams and visions have brought havoc and embarrassment to the Christian faith. The dream or vision I am talking about is when you have a desire to do something. You see yourself accomplishing it. You have a dream to achieve it. You have the mentality of a winner.

Get a vision or dream to become useful to mankind. Get a vision of becoming a winner. You can do it. Others did, so can you.

We desperately need men and women who can bring change to a world that is quickly getting out of control. We need men and women who care enough about other people that they are willing to be the person for the hour and leave a great influence on others.

Many people across the world have a defeated attitude and outlook in life. There is little incentive to get out there and get something done. I hope this book will stir you to the extent that you realize. Are Born To Win! Go for it!

CHAPTER ONE

GETTING STARTED

Anyone Can Be A Winner

Anyone can become a winner in life and be successful: young or old, weak or strong, rich or poor, known or unknown. I am not saying that you will be rich or own houses, lands, factories, and live in luxury. This book is not written to show you how to get rich. It is to show you how to become a winner. You can be a winner without being rich and owning a fortune. In fact, it wasn’t money that motivated most of the champions of the past to become successful. It was a vision.

Getting A Vision-A Dream

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he (Proverbs 29:18).

There are two very important statements in the above verse that you should consider before you can become a winner. The first one is you must have a vision. The second statement is you must operate in that vision God’s way. If you do not have a vision, you cannot expect to become a winner or be successful. Successful men and women have always had a vision of accomplishing something in life. If you intend to accomplish anything in life, you must get a vision. You can do it if you remember you are Born to Win.

Ask The Lord For An Idea

If you don’t have a dream, ask the Lord to help you get a dream or a vision. Use your mind-think. That is what God gave you a mind for. Great minds conceive great ideas. Start thinking about what you would like to accomplish. Get a vision to not only help yourself, but others as well. If you keep thinking about your dream or vision, sooner or later it will become a part of you. Dream about becoming a success. Plan to become a success. See yourself prosperous. Get enthusiastic. The Lord will help you become a winner if your attitudes are right and you are motivated by the right spirit.

Train Yourself To Think Big

You may have heard people say, “If I could but keep one heart from breaking, I have not lived in vain.” That statement may sound good to the loser, but it is certainly not a goal for a winner. There is certainly more than one person we can help in a lifetime. A winner must train his mind to think big, but stay within the realms of common sense. Too many have failed in their vision because they had zeal without knowledge (Romans 10:2).

Stop thinking about how small you are. Start thinking about how big God is. Train your mind to think big. When we think success, we strive for success. When we think failure, we are apt to fail. We are what we think about. Proverbs 23:7 tells us, as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.

Get Faith In Your Vision

You must have faith in your vision. No dream or vision is ever manifested unless there is faith behind the vision. Faith not only speaks, it acts. Faith accomplishes something. Faith comes by obeying the Word of God and confessing it with your mouth, So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17). Notice the words, “faith cometh.” The more we speak the Word, the more faith comes. Faith in your vision is a must if you plan to see your vision fulfilled.

Nothing But Your Best

School teachers become a success when they improve their teaching skills. Successful teachers not only teach, but they influence the lives of those around them. They help others in their classroom to develop into quality men and women. If a school teacher is enthusiastic and has a winning attitude, the pupils will learn to do the same.

A prosperous farmer learns to farm. He has a vision and dream of becoming a successful farmer. He studies about the soil, livestock, tractors, and machinery. He cannot be careless about his livestock, but takes good care of them, seven days a week, 365 days a year. He is constantly learning. He learns from other successful farmers. He learns what to do and what not to do. He knows in order for him to be successful, he must sow his seed at the right time. He must harvest his fields when they are ready for harvest. If you want to be a success, you must be as the farmer. Expect a harvest. Prepare for the harvest. Learn how to reap the harvest. A dream without action is of little value. See yourself the best you can be. Expect to do great things. Expect to be a blessing to others.

A successful businessman sees himself as prosperous. He visualizes himself as a very successful person. He discovers ways to better serve his customers. He searches for ways to make his business more successful.

A good evangelist is not good because he has the ability to draw large crowds. What makes an evangelist successful is a vision of winning souls and bringing men and women to the place where they can be successful Christians.

A pastor is not a successful pastor just because he has the call of God on his life. He is a success because he has a vision to be a success. If you are a pastor, go to your church. Walk back and forth across your church building declaring, “Whatsoever I do shall prosper.” Get a vision of Psalms 1:3 working in your life. Whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Get a vision of your people learning to trust God. See them obeying God and becoming men and women whom God can use. Study the Word. Meditate upon the Word. A true pastor doesn’t quit his job when the first church problem arises. He has a heart for the people God has placed under his care and leadership. He gets to the root of the problem. He finds an answer to his problem. Pastors who became very successful leaders did not become successful without a vision, a plan, a purpose, a zeal, and an enthusiasm.

Be Consumed With Your Vision

And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry (Habakkuk 2:2-3).

No one ever becomes a great success until they are consumed with their vision or dream. Be so consumed with your dream and vision that it becomes a part of you day and night. Let nothing stop you. Be bold about your vision. Talk about your vision. Think about your vision. Dream about your vision. Write your vision. Nail it to the walls of your house. Paste it on the dash of your car. Get enthused about it. Get busy. Do something about your vision. Act like a winner. Talk like a winner. Think like a winner. Be positive. Talk positive about your dream. Be consumed with your vision. That is why God told Habakkuk to write the vision and make it plain. God wanted him to have a complete understanding of that vision that would burn in his bones day and night. You must win! You can win! You are Born to Win!

Be Committed To Your Vision

You must be committed to everything you do. Many businesses fail because of the lack of commitment. Marriages fail when there is a lack of commitment. Pastors often suffer because the people are not committed to the church. If you are not committed to God and His Word, you will likely not be committed to anything else. If you are not committed to your vision, you will quit under pressure. If you are not committed, you are doomed to fail.

Be committed to your task. Be committed to your job. Refuse to give up. Don’t turn from it to the right hand or to the left until you accomplish your vision or goal. Think commitment. Talk commitment. Dream commitment. Plan commitment. See yourself committed. Leave nothing to chance and good luck. Don’t look for success-work for it. Don’t expect your ship to come in-build one. Stay on the main road of success. Detours cause you to lose your vision. There is a lot of work to do. Let’s do it. You are Born to Win. Win, brother, WIN!

Change Your Ways To Be A Winner

As you dream, begin to remove things out of your life that could be a hindrance to your vision. Make sure you are not dominated by the flesh. Get yourself lined up with the Word of God. Correct the wrong in your life. Repent and turn from every evil way. Sin will kill your visions and bring your dreams to a sudden stop. Let the Lord help you overcome evil, then get a vision and go for it.

Learn From Your Mistakes

Laugh at your mistakes and learn from them. Use your failures as stepping stones instead of stumbling blocks. If something doesn’t turn out the way you expected it to turn out, recommit yourself. Go at it again. Plan to win. Plan to succeed. Be determined. Say, “I must succeed. I shall succeed. I’ve got to win.” You can do it. God will help you do it. Angels will help you do it and, under most circumstances, someone else will help you to attain that goal.

CHAPTER TWO

FACING OPPOSITION

Winners Will Face Opposition

Sometime in life, you will face opposition if you set out to become a winner, a success, a dreamer. Opposition may come from your pastor, your school teacher, your employer, your best friend, or even a family member. They will try to stop you. They will be quick to tell you it can’t be done. They even go on and tell you about a hundred others who tried something like you are about to try and failed. They will accuse you of being proud. Others may try to make you feel like you’re going crazy. Although they may accuse you of everything in the “book,” a winner can’t be stopped.

You may ask, “You mean Christians will try to stop a Christian who is set out to do something for the Lord?” They sure will. Weak, sickly, down-trodden church people don’t want a winner around. They become jealous and are quick to let you know what they think of your enthusiasm. They feel it is their god-given duty to hinder the work of the winner. Few people can win, and they wonder what makes you think you can do it. Losers nearly always try to handcuff the winner, but WINNERS WON’T STOP!

Apostle Paul Faced Severe Opposition

Paul faced a lot of opposition in his ministry, but he had a vision to get the gospel into all the world. People tried to stop him. Devils tried to stop him. Storms tried to stop him. He was misunderstood, lied about, rejected, and accused. Everywhere he went, he was faced with someone or something that tried to stop him. He was stoned. He was beaten. He was shipwrecked. He was thrown in jail, but he had a vision that he refused to lose. When he was in stocks and in prison, he began to sing. The prison began to shake and there was a great revival there. He was determined to be a winner in spite of backsets and opposition.

Paul exposed his determination to win when he declared, I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air (I Corinthians 9:26). He wasn’t running a race to lose. He wasn’t uncertain as to how his life would turn out. He knew life was a fight. As he came to the end of his life, he gave one of the greatest testimonies written by man. For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing (2 Timothy 4:6-8). He made it. He was Born to Win.

Failures Don’t Stop Winners

Many famous and successful men and women have failed time and again, but they refused to quit. Proverbs 24:16 says, For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again. Everyone faces times in life when they are tempted to quit. Just because a person fails does not make him or her a failure. No one is a failure unless they quit. It is those who keep their eye on their goal, their vision, and their dream who become a success. Remember the old saying, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.”

So many never have anything to give them courage. All they know is they have failed and failed and failed. They are discouraged and are sure they are born losers. If you have been a failure, get up and start out again. Let me say again; you are not a failure unless you quit.

Some fathers, mothers, and church leaders have taught their people and children to be good losers and to rejoice even if they do lose. No wonder we have so many losers. I am not saying a winner will never lose. Of course, in games, someone will lose, but what should our attitude be? “I may have lost this time, but I will try harder the next time.”

I Will Win

You tried and tried and tried and failed

 And yet you wouldn’t quit.

You may have thought a dozen times,

 “I’m quitting, this is it.”

But then you heard that little voice

 Deep down within you say;

“I may have failed a thousand times,

But I will win today!”

CHAPTER THREE

 GETTING A WINNING ATTITUDE

 It Takes Hard Work

How did others become successful and remarkable winners? Many of them got an idea and worked hard to become a success. Mr. Thomas A. Edison said, “Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration.” That statement is well worth remembering. Successful people agree that to be a success is hard work. It takes sweat and tears. God said, In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return (Genesis 3:19). It takes a diligent, strong, and zealous person to succeed to the fullest extent.

Building Walls: Wall of Grace

Pastor Kevin Campbell’s familyBelievers need to build walls for the future. As attacks of the enemy comes against God’s people, it is one thing when evil comes, another things when it hits them or not. If it does not hit the walls, it will hit you. The Lord was showing me pour people need to build some walls.

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Grace always follow mercy.

4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: (1Pe 1:3-10 KJV)

You will be what you ought to be because of grace. Grace is a spirit, not a definition. We need grace every single day of our lives. without grace we lose the power to perform God-like characteristics, we will become critical.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2Ti 1:7 KJV).

Love requires a spirit to perform it and brings it to life. Sound mind comes from a spirit.

Discerning God’s Voice

We need to discern the voice of God from the voice of a stranger. When we hear God we need to respond correctly, not hardening our hearts like Israelites.

9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.
11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. (Heb 5:9-1 KJV)

Emphasis here in on hearing God, responding correctly and give us an example what happens if we do not respond correctly to what God is saying.

The biggest hindrance to hearing God’s voice is mentioned in Ezekiel 14,

1 Then came certain of the elders of Israel unto me, and sat before me.
2 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
3 Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them? (Eze 14:1-3 KJV)

Idolatry starts when things become more important to us than God. The biggest idol in most people’s life is called “self”.

KJV Hebrews 4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. (Heb 4:1 KJV)

KJV Hebrews 12:26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. (Heb 12:26 KJV)

HOW TO HEAR GOD:
1. Know what the Scripture says, if a voice contradicts the Bible, it is not God.
2. Be accountable to others who hear from God.
3. Have an honest heart.

Reuben Esh

There are other voices that can influence you. They can be erroneously taken as God’s voice: your consciousness, your reasoning and opinions of others. Both God and devil can speak through them.
Flesh also can affect you. It has to be crucified. Idols in our heart can interfere – Ezekeil 14. The biggest idol is selfishness.

His bride has made herself ready

“Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.” (NAS Revelation 19:7)

Eric Campbell, evangelist

If you are offended, you are already wrong. If you are mad, you are wrong. If you are right, you don’t have to defend yourself.
I looked up the facts in the Scriptures on how marriages were done in the Bible. Biblical marriage is not based on love, but on the covenant first. Bride was chosen by a Father , Mother or a good friend. You are a Bride of Christ. I did not choose Him, He chose you first.

“We love him, because he first loved us.” (1Jo 4:19 KJV)
I love Him, because He first loved me. God chose you first.

KJV John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him:

Here is your first love: He loved you first.

Having Salt in Yourself

Эрик Кэмпбелл“Taste and see that the Lord is good.” If someone is in need, you can be there to show that the true flavor of the Gospel, not just any flavor, but the real stuff. You should be a seasoning, be a preservative. You know why thing is the world deteriorating so rapidly? Because no salt is left on this earth to preserve the souls of men. How do I know that there is no salt on the earth? There is no more tears. Two ways you produce salt in your body – sweat and tears. And the church does not produce it any more. Very rarely you find people why are weeping and morning with tears or to put sweat equity any more.

The only thing that will heal the wound is the truth.

KJV Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

If you feel downtrodded, you’ve lost your salt.

Only One Will Win

Many people are finding out, that the god they serve is not alive at all, he is not real. Many people become angered, because the thing they thought real is not real. We serve a living God.

“Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.” (1 Corinthians 9:24)

Everybody starts to run, but only one will win this race. You are going to win. Anything in your life that is not real will hinder you from winning. Hypocrisy is not going to win, anything that is fictitious, not real. If you try to be happy and have love, and you are not really happy or don’t really love, you won’t win. What love and joy you have, you invest it, and it comes back more.

When the Going Gets Tough

When there is a drought in your spiritual life many people want to back off. “I just don’t feel like I did before. Maybe I committed unpardonable sin? Maybe I missed it somewhere? What is wrong?” And you want to jump to conclusions, which lead to wrong decision. Don’t make decisions when you are weak. When it’s tough it’s not the time to sleep or take vacation. Stand and withstand. Don’t let the enemy to plunder your field.
