The story about the Sabbath keeping girl, the only survivor of the shooting, was told to Kevin Campbell by Richard Noel. It happened in Algeria in 1960s during the time of Algerian revolution, trying to drive French government out. A group of young people went on a picnic to a desert oasis. Muslim rebels appeared. The young people tried to run away, the rebels started shooting. An Adventist girl started running away with the group. Finally one of the Muslims tackled her. When she saw his face, he was extremely frightened. The rebels removed 15 bullets from the back of her clothing. The story was told to Richard Noel by Andre Pichot, who was a friend of this young lady. He was not at the picnic. All the other young people at the picnic were killed.
