The Way of Redemption from Diseases

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Rom 10:9-10 KJV).

To confess with one’s lips and to believe with one’s heart is an important law of the Lord’s power operating in our lives. These are two components which, being combined, produce a mighty power of healing. Let’s recollect how Israelites conquered Jericho, the first fortress in the promised land. They won it not by their force, but by their lips. They went around the fortress 7 times, shouted by the word of the Lord, and the fortress collapsed.

Let us look at an ordinary fire extinguisher. It could sit in one place for years without changing its position. But it takes just to pull its chip out, and two its components will be combined together and a mighty force of fire-extinguishing foams will break forth out of it.

The same is in our lives. We should combine confession with our lips and faith with our hearts in order to release the mighty force of redemption from illnesses.

“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation {sozo}” (Rom 10:9-10 KJV).

COMBINING CONFESSION AND FAITH IN PRESENT TIMES

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Rom 10:9-10 KJV).

When I got saved the brother who presented the Gospel to me, told me how he got rid from leukemia (cancer of blood) by the power of the Lord. When doctors diagnosed leukemia and told him that he had very little time left to live, he was seized with strong fear. His Mother informed him that what their relative heard. This relative lived in a remote city. She heard that people were being cured from any illness through repentance. That brother right away got in the car and drove to that city to find that church where people recovered from any disease. When he found the church of the born again people of the Lord, they told him these precious words of Christ, that it is necessary to confess Jesus as the Lord and believe in your heart that the Father raised Him from the dead, as it is written: “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Rom 10:9-10 KJV).

That brother did so and came back home completely healed.

This law of the Lord’s power he relayed to me. And I had been saved from pernicious alcohol addiction by the operation of these two components of the Lord’s power. I had to confess Jesus as my Lord and to believe that God had raised Him from the dead. When these two components were incorporated in my heart, the Lord’s power came out, and I had been transformed from a child of the devil into a child of the Lord. As it is written:

«But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (Joh 1:12-13 KJV)

Later I shared this method of salvation with many people. Redemption method through combining confession Jesus as the Lord and belief in one’s heart that God raised Him from the dead. Mighty force of the love of God changed lives of these people. For more than 20 years I have been preaching the Gospel to people about this power of the Lord’s love. I saw with my own eyes how more than 300 alcoholics, 12 epileptics, 17 cancer patients were healed miraculously without doctors or drugs. It is so pleasant to see, how saving power of the Lord operates practically in life. That is what it means to combine two components of spiritual forces in human lives:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Rom 10:9-10 KJV).

THE FURTHER USE OF THE POWER OF THE LORD IN TWO CONPONENTS

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Rom 10:9-10 KJV).

After being born from the Holy Spirit we receive the Lord’s nature. It contains mighty power, as it is written in the Holy Scriptures:

«17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

20 Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” (Eph 3:17-20 KJV)

The power of the Lord in our hearts! As we read: NOW UNTO HIM THAT IS ABLE TO DO EXCEEDING ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL THAT WE ASK OR THINK, ACCORDING TO THE POWER THAT WORKETH IN US! We need to learn how to use this power of the Lord. And this power through these two components should grow in us, as the grain of wheat planted in good soil. Those should bring up 30, 60 and 100 fold return of the power and love of the Lord. By this power I got healed from many illnesses.

However, there is a difference in healing of babies and young men in the Lord. Two components of the spiritual forces suffice for a baby: 1) confessions of Christ as the Lord and 2) faith that God raised Him from the dead. In the life of young men three components should operate already. As it is written:

«12 I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.

13 I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one” (1 John 2:12-13 KJV).

In the process of spiritual growth there are children, young men and fathers. As we see, young men differ from the children by overcoming the wicked one. So two components suffice for the children in applying the power of the Lord: confessing Jesus as their Lord with their lips and faith that God raised Him from the dead. For young men those two components are not enough. For them it is necessary to have the third component – resisting the devil.

1.  Confessions of the Christ by the Lord.

2.  Beliefs that God has revived from the dead.

3.  Resisting the devil.

Here is how it operates in real life. A woman came to our church. She had two serious illnesses: very strong depression (she had been treated for 12 years) and breast cancer (with it she had been struggling for several years). She confessed Christ Jesus as her Lord, believed that God resurrected Him from the dead, and right there immediately she received liberation from depression. She got completely changed in front of us. Before that she had been very depressed, with the darkened face, and after repentance she stood before us cheerful and looked ten years younger. But the breast cancer did not disappear. She attended church and continued to be treated by doctors.

After chemotherapy all her hair fell out, and she had to wear a wig. We taught her to be a fruit bearing branch of a grapevine, and for this reason to carry out work of the greatest commandment – to serve people, as a merciful Samaritan. Six months later the doctors informed her that it is necessary to remove one of her breasts. I advised her not to do it, because any disease is an unclean spirit, and you cannot cut a demon with a knife. She tried to release God’s healing power by relying on two components, and patiently waited for a miracle in her life as it was with deliverance from depression, but to no avail. I told her bluntly: “To whom much is given, from that person much is required. For this reason you already need three components.” We started to pray for her understanding and that she would learn to humble herself before the Lord and to resist the devil (James 4,5-6). That Sister did not endure the test and went on with the operation. They removed one breast, and in six months another one. But her health condition worsened. Blood work showed significant inflammatory processes. So sometimes she would faint for a short period of time. But this sister had a fighter’s spirit, and she earnestly prayed and asked the Lord for understanding how to release the power for a young man. And the Holy Spirit opened to her these truths through the letter from Peter:

«Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same AFFLICTIONS1 are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, AFTER THAT YE HAVE SUFFERED A WHILE, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen” (1 Pe 5:7-11 KJV).

In this science of fighting against the devil two times it talks about suffering. That Sister came to me and asked, “What does it mean to resist the devil in suffering?” I answered that the same principle of the Lord’s power operates there, as it is written:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Rom 10:9-10 KJV).

Thus, the young men have a different faith, not as babies have, which includes already a struggle against the devil. After applying these three components unclean spirit of  cancer should leave, as is written by the Lord:

«Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (Jam 4:7 KJV).

In order for her to understand, how the devil flees with his illnesses and how this operates in a practical life of a Christian, I told her a testimony from my life.

THE TESTIMONY OF RESISTING THE DEVIL

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?” (Rom 6:16 KJV)

In our lives the Lord and the devil are always present. Whose speech we mentally listen to, the slaves of that one we are.

Lord’s healing is impossible for without spiritual battle. Those skills we obtain through sufferings. Here is a testimony. I went to a doctor for a certificate that was required for renewal of my driving license. The doctor carried medical examination and told me that I had serious heart problems. He heard disruptions in my heart beat, and these are signs of arrhythmia. She wanted to write me a referral to a cardiologist. I politely refused having said that the Lord is my physician who treats all my illnesses in His unique way.

When I left the doctor’s office, the devil at once approached me and began to whisper: “Well, now you stuck. Heart diseases is not just a cold, you will not last for a long time!” The devil continued to frighten me that if I have an operation, they would install a pace maker, but even with this thing I would not last much. After all you are in an old age, you already passed 60. I did not realized first the source of such thoughts, and I was upset (Romans 6:16)2.

But my Teacher the Holy Spirit, came to my aid, and He showed me that these thoughts were from the devil because My Heavenly Father made me a wonderful promise that in old age I will be absolutely healthy:

The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.” (Psalm 92:12-15 KJV)

I already had some experience of releasing of spiritual force during illnesses, and knew by heart the step-by-step instruction of resisting the devil:

7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”  (1 Pe 5:7-11 KJV).

This step-by-step method of resisting the devil in order for him to flee and that an illness really be gone with him from our body we need to apply until the full recovery comes. We need to do it to acquire the skills of spiritual battle. The Holy Ghost reminded me that in suffering and affliction it is necessary for us to thank God, instead of grumbling, because illness is only means to get confidence instead of unbelief, confidence that the Lord loves me, and I can cast all my cares on Him. Disruptions in my heart and heart aches continued for several months, but nevertheless they disappeared from my life. Every day in my morning prayer time I proclaimed that Jesus is my Physician and checked the condition of my faith in spiritual battle against the devil.

Why did I get recovered? Because I confessed before the doctor that Lord Jesus is my Physician. When I was saying this, I knew that I soon would face a fight against the devil who would whisper to me that the Lord could not heal me. But I also knew the promises of the Lord who said:

9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?” (Luk 11:9-13 KJV)

In the Spirit of the Lord there are all the promises of God.

DELIVERANCE FROM CANCER

«6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ” (1 Pet 1:6-7 KJV)

That Sister understood that the Lord would not cleanse her from cancer the way He delivered her from depression because she is not a baby any more. So she went to the doctor and testified about the great love of our Lord and King Jesus Christ. She told the doctor how He cured her from depression though she had been treated from it for 12 years before that happened. She made a decision not to be treated any more by worldly methods. The doctor did not believe in Christ, but compassionately asked her not to refuse traditional methods of treatment completely, for her blood work shows very bad results. The doctor has given her a prescription for some drugs to improve her blood. The Sister took this prescription and bought those drugs though they were very expensive. Certainly it was duplicity, but it was her first spiritual battle by the Word of the Lord. In the morning, when she woke up she wanted to take the pills she had bought, but she could not find them. Then in her heart she determined to give her healing completely to the Lord, according to His promise which had been written in the Bible:

«2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

6 The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed

(Psalm 103:2-6 KJV).

The devil was attacking her with frightening thoughts. He showed her funeral, coffins, and cases of death from cancer. But that sister had learned the methods of spiritual battle and repelled those attacks of the devil by this verse:

«7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Amen” (1Peter 5:7-11 KJV).

Exactly a month later she went to the doctor who, having made tests, with astonishment confirmed her complete healing. Since then two years passed, and the demon of a cancer did not return to that sister.

CONCLUSION AND EXHORTATION

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Rom 10:9-10 KJV).

After being born from the Holy Spirit we received the Lord’s nature. It contains mighty power, as it is written in the Scripture:

«17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” (Eph 3:17-20 KJV).

For a baby two components of spiritual forces suffice: Confessions of Christ as the Lord and belief that God had raised Jesus from the dead. In the life of young men three components should operate already, and this is a distinction of the young man from babies. As it is written:

«12 I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.

13 I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father” (1 John 2:12-13 KJV)

In order to learn how to use healing power of the Lord, it is necessary for us to come every day to the Grapevine and to fulfill a duty of the merciful Samaritan. If I do not do it, I am a fruitless branch which dries up and is cast into the fire. Then we are subject to the fate of the Galatian church which departed from Christ and lost grace. Apostle Pavel warned them:

«4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love” (Gal 5:4-6 KJV).

Let us ask the Lord for understanding that He would teach us to use the healing power, which He put in our hearts3.
