Winning Lost Souls

September 3, 2016

Finding rest for your soul. How to have hope and to give people hope. If people lose hope, they will fail, because they lose their soul. Souls are lost in the world because they do not have hope.
Your soul (mind, will and feelings) has to be anchored. Hope is the anchor to the soul – Hen 6:19. “Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil” (Heb 6:19 KJV).

When people do not have grace, they major on problems and minor on solutions. It makes your world negative.

Daniel Rodes. We need Major Reformation in Obedience

February 15, 2015. Video

Who is in Control? Overcoming You

Who is in Control?

How much control of your life does God really have? On the scale from 1% to 100% – is it 75%? 50%? Or does it come up and down when problems come? It will be very evident in your fruit and conduct. Are you making people’s lives around you better, or they wish you would not around? It depends on who is in control of your life.

Everybody wants the gifts, see healing and miracles, including me. I need them. The Lord says, “If I am in control of your life, when certain circumstance come, why do you push Me over and take charge?” Healing ministry has to be with obedience. He is looking for someone who will say, “yes” to what God tells to do.

Many of us have a problem: independence of God. We want to do things our way. God tells to do something, and you compromise… Independence and compromise are areas when our flesh wait to take over.

We need the healing power of God back. But we also need a stable lifestyle. Too many options. There has to be the only way.

Overcoming You

The greatest obstacle in the past is you. Ask yourself a question, “Who really is in control of my life?” The answer determines who determines my behaviour, flesh or the Spirit. Who is in control is obvious when a storm comes. If you are in control of your life, you are out of control. “For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh” (Phi 3:3 KJV)

What is your value? It is how much God is willing to pay for you.

If you have an ounce of independence in you. Or your opinion, it is like a virus. Let God overcome you. Without God you will never be able to do things right all the time.

“Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh” (Gal 5:16 KJV)

When Holy Spirit is in control of your life, you’ll please God.

You will never understand faith until you understand love.

Build your integrity. Make a decision: the world will see brand new me.

You’ll miss every target you don’t shoot at. So take a shot.

Daniel has excellent spirit (Daniel 5:14, 63). “He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit” (Pro 17:27 KJV). Excellent spirit keeps his cool.

You overcome by recognition. You recognize you’ve been ain a similar situation, failed, and you ask God to help you this time. Follow peace with all men.

“For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live” (Rom 8:13 KJV). Gentleness is a weapon of warfare. Our weapons of warfare are not carnal.

His bride has made herself ready

“Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.” (NAS Revelation 19:7)

Eric Campbell, evangelist

If you are offended, you are already wrong. If you are mad, you are wrong. If you are right, you don’t have to defend yourself.
I looked up the facts in the Scriptures on how marriages were done in the Bible. Biblical marriage is not based on love, but on the covenant first. Bride was chosen by a Father , Mother or a good friend. You are a Bride of Christ. I did not choose Him, He chose you first.

“We love him, because he first loved us.” (1Jo 4:19 KJV)
I love Him, because He first loved me. God chose you first.

KJV John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him:

Here is your first love: He loved you first.

24. December 10, 2011. Who is Grace?

16. November 19, 2011. Overcoming Fear.

15. November 12, 2011. “Who owns you?

I was listening to an interview with a prominent person recently. The interviewer asked a very valuable question. The even more valuable answer was a statement about the current thinking in America.

The answer was that our income tax is based on the idea that we are owned by our government. Therefore, the government has the right to tell us how much of the money we earn we are allowed to keep.

I will now take you back to the time of the American Civil War. European bankers offered to loan money to the USA to fight the war. President Lincoln wisely refused their offer. The Bankers circulated among themselves what is know as the “hazard letter”. That letter asserted that the American system must not be allowed to stand. In slavery the owner is responsible to house, clothe and feed his slaves. They asserted that their system (economic slavery) was better because it required the slave to provide for himself.

The answer pointed out a very vital Bible Principle.

KJV 1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not … ye are not your own?

If I am not my own, then who owns me? If you don’t know about yourself, then this is your opportunity to find out just who owns you?

The idea of ownership applies to: 1) husbands and wives, 2) parents and children as well as 3) slaves and slave owners. These comparisons are used frequently in the Bible to describe the relations between; 1) unbelievers and Satan, and 2) believers and God.

God tells us to be sure who owns us.

NET 2 Corinthians 13:5 Put yourselves to the test to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize regarding yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you– unless, indeed, you fail the test!

How do you know whether or not Jesus Christ is in you?

1) Did you receive Him as your Savior?

NAS John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,

2) Is He still living in you? Are you exercising the right?

KJV Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

3) What evidence is there that He is living in you?

(Mar 16:17-18 KJV)17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

(Joh 15:4-11 KJV)4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

KJV John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

(Rom 6:12-14 KJV)
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

(Rom 6:16 KJV)16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

KJV Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Seven Formulas To Victory

Daniel RodesI asked the Lord to give me something to help Christians to win without going through the whole Bible in order to find proper verses. And He showed me verses, and if you drill this verses in your heart, you can not loose. If you want victory in your Christian walk, these formulas are absolutely necessary.

Daniel Rodes

The Lord not only expects His children to have victory, but He has given them the Word to show them how to have victory. Unfortunately, many are like Gideon who asked, “…Oh my Lord; if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites” (Judges 6:13). Many people wonder, “Why did this happen to me?” or “Why did this turn out the way it did?” or “Why don’t the promises of God work for me?” One day, while praying, the Lord gave me seven exciting formulas for victory, which I want to share with you. Although many people have confessed these verses, the formulas make each confession more personal and profound. By placing these confessions together, they become unique and bring greater victories. After I shared this program with others, they testified of greater victories – some in just a few days. The purpose of this program is to help you get a revelation of the Lord helping you and being with you through every situation. Keep in mind that the promises of God’s Word are not for the rebellious or disobedient. They have been given to God’s children to help them have victory. You will notice that many of the verses have qualifications for the person who receives the promise.

After you have read and studied the information sheet for the formula, go to the worksheet. (You may want to copy the worksheet to hang up or carry with you.) Write your name, starting date and finishing date at the top of the worksheet. Then write the day of the week that you started on the line beside the confession. On the first day, study the confession for day one. Continually confess and meditate upon it throughout the day. On day two, confess the verse for day two throughout the day. As you confess each scripture, you may want to return to the information sheet to read the reinforcement verses and get a better understanding of each confession. (Note: Become familiar with your daily confessions before confessing your reinforcement verses. The reinforcement verses are only to help broaden your understanding. It is not necessary to memorize these verses.) Study only one confession per day for a total of seven days. At the end of seven days, you should have an overall revelation of the formula. Now, for the next twenty eight days, confess all seven verses each day (Don’t let this overwhelm you. It’s not as hard as you may think.) This will be a total of thirty five days – seven days with one confession per day plus twenty eight days with all seven confessions per day.

Make each confession a priority for that day. It should be more important than anything else you do. Get enthused about making these confessions. Make a quality, unchangeable decision that you will confess each verse until it gets into your human spirit. The more enthusiastically you confess these verses throughout the day, the more revelation you will receive concerning that verse. The Word of God is very precious and should never be confessed in a mechanical, nonchalant way.

It is important to begin with Formula #1. The other six formulas may be confessed in any order. For best results, confess only one formula at a time.

BATTLE VERSES: “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled(II Corinthians 10:5-6).

If at any time you are tempted to think, “This formula is not working for me,” immediately go to the battle verses and cast down that thought. You may feel like you are not worthy for this formula to work in your life. If so, ask the Lord to forgive you of any wrong doing and cast down those thoughts that may arise in you. When anyone or anything tries to stop you, go to the battle verses and cast down that thought. PLEASE DON’T GIVE UP!

You Will Never Know What You Are Until You Are Tested

The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold,

But the LORD tests hearts.

NAS Proverbs 17:31

By Daniel Rodes

D. Rodes. Until You Are Tested booklet. You may say, I don’t have pride. You won’t know if you have pride or not until you are tested. There are people who appear to be strong spiritually and who say, “you won’t catch me doing that.” But when they come under the test, they fail that test. Why did they fail? The reason is that pride goes before destruction and haughty spirit before a fall.

Do you know that God has a way of proving people? He is looking for those who have been tried in the fire and come through victoriously.

One person built a house on the sand, another one on the rock. The 1st house fell when the storm came, the first one fell. You know why? Because he was not prepared for that storm.

Gold has to be tried in the fire. You have to get rid of the stuff that is not gold. So they put it under extreme heat so intense that all the dross be removed except gold. Gold can take extreme heat, same way is with silver. The more He sees your potential the more He will test you. He told Israelites, “I will try you as gold is tried in the fire, because I want a people that are not messed up with something other than gold and silver, I want a pure thing, who know what they are doing and that they can come through. But I have to prove you. Sometimes those tests are pretty difficult. It is not that God does not know, He wants to make sure you understand.

Moses said to people, God will send you a prophet to prove you, he will give you a false message. Deut 13:32. The reason for that is to prove you whether you got the stuff or not. Do you have it? Do you have the discerning of spirits? Do you know what you are doing? In Ex 16:4 the Lord said, “Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or not” (KJV Exodus 16:4).

I will prove you if you are going to listen to Me or not. Doubt and fear moves wrong. God has to prove us, because we get into doubt and fear.

The Lord sometimes cuts your finances off when they look like complete failure. He does not like that. But He wants to prove you. He already knows who you are, but you may not know that. And He wants you to know who you are. So He tests you.

Psalm 112:7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

We will never know how much we trust the Lord until we are tested. Sometimes, it appears that the Lord will not come through. This is when we need to stand. Remember, life is a battle; that is why we are told “… having done all, to stand. Stand therefore” (Ephesians 6:13-14).

Hebrews 10:35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

When the Hebrew writer mentions, “cast not away your confidence,” he is informing us that it is possible to give up, to quit, to fail and to lose our confidence. However, he is instructing us to hold on to that confidence. Stand fast. Refuse to question God.

Romans 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.

God had promised Abraham a son whose seed would be a blessed people upon the earth. Abraham struggled. You can read about his struggles in the Old Testament account. Yet, when we come to the New Testament, the account reports that he staggered not. Sometimes, our faith may be tested like Abraham’s. He waited years, and more years, but, finally, he was able to hold the promised child in his arms because he did not consider the possibility of failure.

Emotional Stability

Daniel RodesA Christian will wave good bye to all his human endeavors forever, because the Cross is a one way street, you‘ll never go back.  Many Christians start out on the Christian journey, but they don’t bear the Cross. The Cross is death to self, “crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live.” We’ll never have the life of God in us until we first experience the death on the cross. It means we will never go back again, it means we won’t have any suggestions that we hold on to. Never again we will say, “I don’t want to do this”. I person that hangs on the cross has nothing to hold on to.

When you can get that picture and come to a place in life when our emotions are tried, we are troubled on every side, it seems like everywhere we go everything goes wrong… you always remember, that for every problem there is a solution, the is a Bible verse, that covers your situation.

The Lord said, “I’m going to be with you in trouble.” He did not say, “I’m going to deliver you out of trouble, He said, I’m going to deliver you in it.” You are in a team with the Lord. You are not going there alone, you and the Lord are together. When you don’t know which way to turn, remember, there is a solution. “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and He delighteth in his way.” Instead of going down to despair, remember, you are in a team work, Somebody is there to help you through.

Every believer will suffer persecution. How shall we handle the emotional side of that? Many people want to go into the ministry. But are you ready against the hostility against godly men and women? There is not so much against others, because they are not a real threat, but there is a lot of hostility against Christianity.

We are going to have stable emotions. If we don’t have that we will become unusable. How do you handle rejection?

I would like to encourage those of you who are listening: don’t let it put you down. You can take the courage and get going.

Finding Your Soul Mate

The curse causeless shall not come.

—Proverbs 26:2 (KJV)

The truth is more amazing than fiction, and the story I tell here is true. I began as an emotional failure and an alienated loner doomed to spinsterhood, and became a happily married wife. At first, I offered my story only to friends. It made a deep impression upon them and inspired optimism; they advised me to publish it.

Chapter 1

King Solomon’s Descendant

When I was 7 years old, a dramatic vision made me believe that the most important in my life was to love and be loved.

Out of nowhere, there came a bright scene, which lingered for a long time. I smelled the freshness of a river in shadowy woods. A slim young man with dark hair stood on the bank of the river waiting for his chosen one. With a graceful smooth walk, a young woman met him. She wore a white ballroom dress with a fluffy, airy skirt. Her face glowed with a happy smile. She stretched her arms out for an embrace. She was confident in her happiness, in their mutual love. I believed I was to be that girl.

Later, this childhood impression grew into a conviction that the meaning of my life was to love a certain man. I wished to dedicate myself to him and to live by him and for him. However, an insidious voice inside whispered, “It will not work. You will not make it.” I listened to it. Moreover, I believed it.

For long decades, my private life went nowhere. Those I fell for were either indifferent to me or despised me. I felt rejected and hurt.

If I had met my future husband earlier,

either I would have not noticed him

or I would have pushed him away

If my early failures were just random and unfortunate, they should not have repeated themselves every time. I should have been able to connect with someone at least once. I was not ugly. Young men would come up to me in the street to express their interest. Nevertheless, they did not interest me, and I did not have any success with the guys whom I did like. If I liked someone, he would not like me—or vice versa. I kept asking myself, “Why are they not interested in me?” I thought I might have been cursed.

Love, joy and peace are 3 main things that make a Christian going.Psalm 126:1-6 When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.  2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.  3 The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.  4 Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.  5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.  6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.Which of those sections would you rather live in? Where do you live in? Where we hung our harps on the willows or where our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing? What is going to determine this is where your relationships with the Lord is.Sermon. Audio. MP3. 56 minutes.

We Hanged Our Harps On The Willows

Finding the Power of Joy

We, the church lost our song. Many people parked under the willow trees. What has happened to joy? Why? Joy must be maintained.

Power of Joy

People see how we handle difficulties. They see you when you smash your finger. They see you when things are going well. My question is this: are we happy only when things are going well; and when they are not going well are we still happy? You can rejoice. When there is no joy it is a sign that connection with the Father is not where it has to be. How can an unthankful person be joyful?

Michael is the kind of guy you love to hate. He is always in a good mood and always has something positive to say. When someone would ask him how he was doing, he would reply, “If I were any better, I would be twins!”

He was a natural motivator. If an employee was having a bad day, Michael was there telling the employee how to look on the positive side of the situation. Seeing this style really made me curious. Continue reading Choose How You Live Your Day Today
