Part 3. How to RetainThe mind is really keeps us going. We start about restoration of the mind and learning to retain. We might retain negative things and forget the positive.
Why do we have to have restoration or renewing of the mind? “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Rom 12:2 KJV)
How do we get our minds working in love, joy and peace? Natural love is different, than the love of God. The love of God is enduring, steadfast, it cannot fail.
True love, joy and peace starts in the thinking capacity. Everything that enters your heart goes through the mind. “Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ” (1Pe 1:13 KJV).
You have total control of your mind. No matter what is going on in your mind you have to approve it. That is why Bible says, “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” (2Co 10:5 KJV). You take these thoughts into captivity.
“And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” (Revelation 12:15-17)
Who is that woman? What is the flood? In the book of Revelation a lot applies to our generation. When a person reads it and gets confused…Confusion comes when someone was rooted in traditions of men and then he come across the verses that contradict their traditions. Confusion also comes when there is a lack of integrity, which leads to lack of the Lord be able to reveal His Word to you. Revelation from the truth of God’s Word begins with an honest heart. If we lack honesty God will actually withhold the truth from us, He will even send a strong delusion, as in Thessalonians, that you might believe a lie.

On September 16, 2001, I was ministering in one of the western states of the USA when I received a vision of a sinking ship. It was then the Lord spoke to me and said, “The ship is sinking. Some have seen the danger and have taken to life boats, but they are still too close to the ship. When it sinks, they will sink with it.” He said the ship is the system that many of the plain people and a few of the other more conservative denominations are following. Some of the people have come out from the system, but are still trying to hold on to some of the unscriptural doctrines and commandments which they have been taught. In some cases, they resist what they know to be truth and are suspicious of anyone who would reveal to them the truth. If someone comes to them with partial truth, for the most part, they will accept it.
The Lord said to me, “Some people will get mad and say, ‘This is not the word of the Lord. God does not speak through prophets today.’ Many of them will stop their ears to the truth and will reject any messenger who dares to try to correct their traditional system. If they were honest, they would have to admit something is wrong. I have warned them, but they do as the Pharisees — make the Word of God of none effect through their tradition. Many of them will mock and become enraged. Others will conclude that it doesn’t apply to them. Fear them not. Give the word as I have given it to you.”
In this vision, it became clear to me that there is some good in the conservative churches. This is an overall message for the church, rather than all churches being guilty of all the things that the Lord has spoken against this system. ((Note: The Lord made it clear to me that I should not open myself to discuss this matter with anyone who would try to criticize, condemn or cause an argument concerning this message. I have given this message as clearly as I know how as the Lord has delivered it to me. By no means, do I have any prejudice or hard feelings toward this people. I have delivered this message by the grace, mercy and love of God. It is my prayer that those who read this message will be very careful how they respond to it. The Lord has deeply impressed upon me that those who will not obey this word and turn from their wicked ways will find themselves sinking with the ship. I, in no way, consider this message to be infallible or equivalent to the inspired Word of God, but I must warn that the over all message is a word of the Lord and must be heeded.

If we want God’s favor, we need to understand He wants us to be blessed. We need to know what it takes to be blessed.
1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. (Deuteronomy 28:1-2)
Everywhere I go I hear the word “lack”. What causes these blessings to be stolen?
The first way to receive blessing is honesty, when you have nothing hid.
“But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully” (2 Corinthians 4:2-3).
There are numerous “be nots” on the Bible. We need to understand them.
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:2).
Our thinking is from the heart, rather than the head. It has to come from innermost being. If you are conformed to this world, you cannot fully understand what God has for you in this life, because you are conformed to the wrong thibs. But if you are transformed by the renewing of your mind you think, act and talk different. A person will become what he or she thinks about all the time. God’s will is good, and acceptable, and perfect. There is no other will available.
“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones” (Proverbs 17:22)
Laughter does not help you on the job site tomorrow morning. Do you know why people are looking forward for weekend? Because during the week they don’t have joy.
God is happy every day. In His presenceis fulness of joy (Psalm 16:11). How to find real joy and maintain it? God wants you to have a continual feast. It’s available.

The only place the everlasting Gospel is mentioned is in the book of Revelation: “And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people (Rev 14:6).
In Matthew 24:14 it said: “And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”We have a tendency to hear what we want to hear rather then what the Bible has to say. It says, the preachers preaching it will be a witness; they will not only preach it, but live it. Witness usually means ready to lay down your life for it.
Jesus went to different villages preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom in Matthew 9:35. He also healed the sick of every disease, indicating that the Gospel of the Kingdom will have to do that.
The average denominational system automatically gives their definition for what is required of a child of God. They draw up their traditions, commandments and standards to defend rules and regulations. Each denomination boasts superiority in understanding the fundamental structure of the faith. They skillfully interweave Scriptures with their standard and the Biblical standard set forth by the Almighty God, thus making the Word of God of little or none effect. Most Believers feel they were providentially born into this “ideal, scriptural,” denomination, whether they have a proper or a manipulative interpretation of the Bible. This explains the statement made by Jesus, “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves” (Matthew 23: 15).
This may help to explain the struggles, frustrations and lack of fulfillment in the lives of the majority of Believers across the world.
Mt 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
The heart must be 100% honest before you can have 100% TRUTH from the WORD!!
Only an honest heart will understand God and His Word. How does one get an honest Heart?
Understanding How the Heart of Man and the Heart of God are Unified in Interpreting the Word:
If a person does not have an honest heart he/she will not interpret the Word correctly.
If we do not understand God and His attributes, we will not understand His Word. If we are incapable of understanding His Word, we will never be able to understand God. God and His word cannot be separated. Jesus declared himself to be the word of God.
“Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.” (Colossians 2:7)
Thanksgiving that comes from the heart is different from that comes out of your lips.
1 Timothy 2:1-2 ”I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men.” Stop here and analyse this: “For all men?” He could not mean that, could He? Then He goes on “2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.”
There is no way you may rail on a leader and pray for him. If you have problems praying for somebody give thanks for him first. Because you can get him change. You don’t thank God for him because he is your enemy, but because he is your fellow human.
It’s going to be a lot of chaos, especially for those who live in the natural. The opposite of that and the plan of God for our life is to experience peace wherever we are at.
Isaiah 32: 15-2015 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. 16 Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. 17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. 18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places; 19 When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place. 20 Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass.
The manifestation of God’s promises is not so much in an appointed time in history as much as it is for the righteous of God to understand that these things belong to them, they are a part of the inheritance and the violent is going to take it by force.
The promises of God today are “yes” and “amen”. They are for us to get a hold of.
2Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
It is part of our inheritance and the violent take them by force. The people who do not really want it will not get it.

Ask God beforehand, “Deliver us from future evil”. Cast your burdens on the Lord.
1. Deliver us from evil men. We say, “I disannul all plans of evil formed against me and my family.”
2. Deliver us from deception. Matt 24 “Take heed that you be nor be deceived.” What about truth in you? Is truth in you swayed by influence? 1 John 3:18.
Be transparent, open with Him; be honest with God and your fellow men.
3. Deliver us from place. Psalm 91, “evil will not befall me.”
4. Deliver us from sickness and disease.
5. Deliver us from bondage. Get rid of financial debt.
6. Deliver us from evil desires, thought patterns.
7. Deliver us from curse of the law - Gal 3:10-14.
8. Deliver us from the plans of the evil one.
Disannul plans of the devil off our family and our affiliation. Resist his plans. ”And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will” (2 Timothy 2:26).
Your soul has to be under your control, not you under control of your soul.
5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance (Psalm 42).
David is talking to himself. God has interest in seeing your spirit, soul and body prosper. It is part of His plan, will and purpose for your life. Your spirit is the part of you that gets born again. It enters into relationships with God, make connection with Heaven, which Holy Spirit directs. You are responsible to keep your body in subjection. We need to make a decision to keep our soul in line with the Word. Soul consists of mind, will and emotions. Soul does not get born again, it is being renewed gradually. You have to talk to your soul. Soul does 3 things: mind processes your thoughts; thoughts affect your feelings and how you make decisions. The key to get your mind, will and emotions lined up with the Word of God and Spirit of God. This way you will correctly respond to the way God feels and will help you on your decision making. God wants you to be in control of your emotions rather than emotions controlling you. Soul is affected by the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness.

If you depend on your natural senses to feed the information to your soul it makes you a carnal man. If you depend on your spiritual senses to tap in the Kingdom of Heaven, in makes you a spiritual man. If unconverted man taps into spiritual realm of the kingdom or darkness it is witchcraft. You have to train your new man that taps into the Kingdom of God to use spiritual senses to feed your mind.
There is controversy on who God is. The God we serve is not a passing god. Diana and Baal are gone because they are passing gods.
We came to a place that we shove a holy God aside in reference to our belief. Someone told me, “You refer to the Bible all the time, but my church people refer to denomination we were brought up with.”
You cannot separate this Book from what the Word is. Once you have been translated to His kingdom you now are a new thing.
When human fell, human became perverted. In Christ we have a picture of what human become when they are not perverted. We have pieces of a puzzle and we start putting it together.
When God becomes our Heavenly Father, there are relationships, and we can understand Him. I know what pleases my Father. Until we learn what pleases the Father we will only relate to God as someone upstairs.
“…He began to say unto His disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy” (Luke 12:1). It is a put on. It is not right. It looks religious, but it is not what God is looking for. You can be ever so close to what God wants you to be, and still not be what God wants you to be; when we try to put on something that we are not - this is hypocrisy. Sometimes when you are fighting a disease and believe for healing, and talk to a person who is critical about it and you don’t tell him about what is going on - I am not talking about this case. I am talking about normal run of character. Jesus said to us to be aware of the hypocrisy, which is leaven of the Pharisee, it will leaven you if you don’t watch.
If you are in the flesh you have to get to work emotions up. Because all week long you are dragging by them. If it is all emotions you will be down next day.
Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; 2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake (2 Corinthians 4:1-5). If you understand heart - not heart that beat your blood, but the heart condition of man, the very innermost being of an individual. What is wrong that the Bible does not work? Why do we need to shift gears when a trouble comes? We have faith as long as it is not too bad, but when it become serious, it is different.
If you are not excommunicated from the group that you used to belong to, then what are you be a part of? Who are you trying to please and bring glory to? “These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.” (John 9:22)
Here is almighty God made a great miracle for their son, but they are afraid. The Lord put some pressure on them.When I had a baptism of the Holy Ghost, I lost fellowship with most of my family. We need to go outside the temple following Jesus.
Hebrews 13:12-13: 12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. 13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
We don’t want to lose fellowship. Fear keeps people inside. To go outside the camp means to go outside the walls of the church. 1 Peter 4:12-14: 12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial [excommunication - K.C.] which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
You know why some of you don’t have joy? You still try to get inside those walls.
